Being put in such a situation, people are not able to repay their loans and credit card bills. This resulted in considerable number of problems regarding credit cards and credit reports. Not to mention, the general trend of the credit sector was going downhill and credit card companies were forced to offer people services like bad credit cards to improve their credit rating.
In today's financial world, it is pretty well understood the necessity of having a credit card. There are many reasons, whether good or bad for having plastic in your pocket. Credit cards for bad credit come with many features.
Nowadays, bad credit cards are easily available because of the continuous offers flashed by the credit card companies. One of them is credit card for bad credits with high credit limit. People who have the lowest credit rating of 500 have an opportunity to rebuild or repair credit by having this type of cards.
These credit cards are basically offered with a variable APR (Annual Percentage Rate). And the rate that is actually applied depends upon two things, namely credit worthiness and prime rate. But mostly the APR is calculated based upon the nature of the transaction. For example, a higher rate is applied for balance transfers, and an exorbitantly high rate is applied for overdraft facilities. Credit providers like Orchard Bank, Centennia Cards and Aventium offer bad credit cards with high credit limit to the customers.
The companies like VISA and MasterCard also offer credit cards for bad credit. But they offer only prepaid card services and secured credit cards respectively for the people having bad credit ratings.
In short, bad credit cards can be very good things when trying to establish a credit history or to repair a seriously flawed one.

Rebuild your credit using Orchard Bank Mastercard?
Hi everyone....I have heard alot of contradicting information on Orchard Bank's Mastercard. I have not-the-best credit, and am looking to help improve my score. I have one bill to pay off, but 2 'black marks' on there. I was wondering if anyone has used Orchard Bank's Credit Cards to rebuild their credit, and how it worked out. IM NOT looking for a credit card to charge on.....just a card that i can put small purchases on to help my score go up. Also, i know it is secured, and you have to put down $100 less than the line of credit you want, but do you get that deposit back ever? Please, comments.
Answer
Secured credit cards are a great way to rebuild your credit. Most secured credit card companies require a deposit equal to the credit line your are seeking. Make sure they report your payment monthly to the major credit bureaus. Making your payments on time monthly will increase your credit rating. You will also get you deposit returned to you after one year, turning your secured credit card into a unsecured credit card.
