im going through a bankruptcy, and one of the requirements is to provide the most recent credit card statements which are originals and not copies. well all of my cards are paperless, but they can be viewed and printed online. They are the very same thing that I would received if mailed. so, my question is that sufficient enough. because as I said its the exact same information as if they were to mail it out.
Aren't you working with a bankruptcy attorney? If not, that is a big mistake. the chances that you will screw up is high ( an attorney would know if a printing of your online statement would suffice ) and your petition will be declined. You would then have to wait a period of time to refile. now, if you are working with an attorney, ask them! If the court only wants what is mailed to you, you could certainly opt out of paperless for a month, get your statement and present that.
Are online credit card statements considered to be original statements?
