Chase credit card 19% interest rate... Do you think I can talk them down and how?
Hello, I have a chase credit card with a pretty hefty balance on it at a 19% interest rate. My monthly payments are around 100.00, I usually put anywhere b/t 150 and 300.00 a mnth on it. Is there anyway that I could talk them down on my interest rate? And if so how would I go about doing it? What are the things that I should say that would persuade them to lower this drastically? Thank you
Answer
first compare the card with other cards once you know what the competion has to offer call them up and tell them that you would like to make Chase your primary card but you do not feel like you are getting the best rates because you are getting offers through the mail that have lower interest rates and that you understand is an intro offer but even after the intro offer they are giving you a better rate (if they aks the rate) tell them that is like 6.99% if they refuse and tell you that they are not able to lower your rate ask them that you understand that and to get you to the right person that can, and tell them about how loyal you are to their company and what you are aking for is what they are giving other customers, other wise you will have to get a better credit card and transfer your balances over wich will be better becuase most of the time they have 0% interest in balance transfers for about 6-12 months, and I could gurantee you that they will lower your rate, try it and let me know how it went, check out www.fastcreditcardapprovals.com for better rates and rewards. Good luck
