I just started the business the beginning of the month and have been using one of my regular credit cards for some miscellaneous business start up expenses. Should I continue to just devote this credit card for my business or actually get an American Express Business card?
It will certainly be easier to manage and keep track of everything if you have two separate accounts.
The good thing about getting a business credit card is that credit does not show up on your personal credit so if ever you lose the business or go default on the card it doesn't affect your personal credit. If you do good with the credit card it builds your business credit so when you want to apply for a loan you have some established credit. just make sure you have a tax ID.
Plus again it does allow for you to keep your business stuff separate.
hello
in my opinion it`s better to maintain two separate accounts
i mean one for personal credit and the other for the business credit because if anything happens to your business unexpectedly even then there will be no effect on your personal credit
you may get some Information about the advantages and disadvantages of the business cards here
hope it helps you
all the best
