I work for a small business, which has issued me a credit card to use for business expenses. the card has my name on it and the business name. If my employer is late making payments on the card, will that show up on my credit report/rating?
if the card is in your name... DUH... yea it will be on your report.
best would be for your boss to pay you the expense and you pay the credit card.
It depends. the card may actually be in the business' name and your name appears on the card as one of the users.
To know for sure, you will need to confirm with you finance department. Or if you would rather, pull a free credit report and see if the issue bank of the car appears as revolving credit on your credit report. That would confirm if the card is indeed in your name. From what you have written if sounds like your name appears on the card as a user of the company card, but it is best to confirm.
Ring the card company and find out.
The business my hold the account and have you as an additional card holder. If thats the case then they are the ones it affects.
If its you, i would suggest that you pay your bill and have them pay you. better to occaisionally be a bit short if the boss pays late than end up with bad credit.
If my boss is late paying my business credit card bill does it affect my credit rating?
