In order to be fit for the miles reward program that Sam's club offers their members that wish to obtain a discover card, there are some important rules that you may follow. Without the account, there's no way that the fine folks at Sam's club can offer you this great rewards program. If you were accumulating miles during the time of your accounts suspension, the bank shall take those miles and you won't be compensated for them.
For each $1.00 that you spend on your Sam's Discover Card, you earn one mile. All your miles are figured out at the end of each working day, they're then rounded to the nearest whole dollar value. All miles will be accumulated to your account on your next billing cycle. Advantage members may not accumulate any more then 60,000 miles in a calendar year, while Advantage plus members may not accumulate more then 100,000 miles in a calendar year.
When you open up a brand new Sams club discover card you are mechanically given bonus miles to get you moving. The opening bonus miles are for 5,000 miles. You may visually see these bonus miles on a statement 8 to 12 weeks after your first acquisition. Should If you wish to upgrade your Sams club discover card to an Advantage plus membership, you will be given a further 5000 miles for this upgrade.

Is the Discover Student Card A good credit card?

I'm looking to apply for a credit card I've been doing my research. A lot of sites come up with discover, i had a friend tell me that discover wasn't good? But Every site i go to that's the top one they pull up for a college student.

I currently hold a Discover Student Credit card and the company has been good about keeping me up to date on my account. The really nice thing about Discover is that they have a wide variety of different looks for their credit cards. I got replacement for my card simply because they have a lot of cute looking cards, but don't get a credit card solely for this reason. It was just a nice added bonus. You do need good credit (above 660), however, to qualify for the Discover Student credit card because the economy is in a turmoil and the company need to be able to trust that you can pay off your balance monthly. If your local bank or credit union offers a student credit card, it will probably be easier to be approve for one there. Good luck!
